Privacy Policy and Cookies

1. Who is the data controller

The controller of personal data is Matěj Kresl, ID No.: 17517079, with registered address at Bezděkov 91, 339 01, Czech Republic, operator of the website betterathlete.cz (“I”). Contact: betterathlete.coach@gmail.com, tel. +420 776 806 689.

2. What data I process and why

When you contact me by e-mail, phone or social media, I process the data you provide to me (typically your name, e-mail, phone number and the content of your message). I use it only to reply, arrange a meeting and, where applicable, for the cooperation that follows. The legal basis is your request to get in touch and prepare a cooperation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). I keep the data for the duration of our communication and cooperation, and afterwards only as long as the law requires or until you ask me to delete it.

3. Cookies and traffic measurement

This website uses cookies for statistical traffic measurement (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager). They are only activated based on your consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time in the Privacy Preferences. Without your consent no measurement is started. Statistical data (e.g. pages visited, device type, approximate location) is processed by Google Ireland Limited. Your choice is stored for 12 months.

4. Who receives the data

The data may be processed by the providers I use: the hosting company WEDOS Internet, a.s. (running the website) and Google Ireland Limited (traffic measurement, only with your consent, and the Gmail e-mail service). When Google services are used, data may be transferred outside the EU on the basis of an adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework). I do not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz). Please send your requests to betterathlete.coach@gmail.com.
